Living a great story

Clinical Supervision for LPC Associates

Become the counselor you want to be.

Clinical supervision is more than completing required hours.  It's an opportunity to develop your clinical judgement, deepen your self-awareness, build confidence, and discover your own therapeutic voice.

Supervision should help you become more fully yourself.

I don't believe there is one right way to be a therapist.  Your training, personality, life experience, values, and the clients you serve will al shape the kind of counselor you become.

My role as your supervisor isn't to create a version of me.  It's to help you develop the knowledge, self-awareness, clinical reasoning, and confidence to practice thoughtfully and authentically.

My approach is person-centered, collaborative, reflective, and intentionally supportive.  I want supervision to be a place where you can bring difficult cases, uncertainty, questions, successes, ethical dilemmas, and the moments when you're simply thinking, "I'm not sure what to do here."

I'll offer guidance when you need it, thoughtful challenge when it will help you grow, and honest feedback delivered with respect.

What Can You Expect From Supervision

A safe place to think out loud
Bring questions, uncertainly, difficult cases, and ideas without fear of judgement.

Thoughtful clinical guidance
We'll explore assessment, treatment planning, interventions, documentation, ethics, and clinical decision-making together.

Honest, respectful feedback
Support doesn't mean avoiding difficult conversations.  I'll challenge you while respecting your developing professional identity.

Space to develop your own voice
We'll explore what fits your personality, values, strengths, and the clients you serve - not simply what works for someone else.

Attention to the whole clinician
Your development as a counselor doesn't happen separately from the rest of your life.  We'll pay attention to sustainability, boundaries, self-awareness, and burnout prevention as part of becoming a healthy clinician.

Who I worth with

I provide clinical supervision for Texas LPC Associates working toward independence licensure.  I especially enjoy working with counselors who are curious, introspective, authentic, and willing to engage thoughtfully in their own professional development.

Supervision Format

Supervision is available virtually and may be provided individually, in dyads, and in small groups, depending on availability and your needs.

Fees

Supervision feeds range from $35- $75 per hour, depending on the supervision format.

Before we begin

I offer a complimentary 30 minute consultation so we can talk bout where you are in your journey, what you're looking for in a supervisor, and whether my approach feels like a good fit.

What happens next?

1. Start with a conversation.
We'll spend 30 minutes getting to know one another and talking about what you're looking for in supervision.

2.  Decide if we're a good fit.
Supervision is a relationship. I want you to feel comfortable choosing a supervisor whose approach aligns with how you want to grow.

3. Begin your supervision journey.
Once we've decided we're a good fit, we'll talk through scheduling, supervision format, and the next steps for getting started.  We will all complete the BHEC supervision contract.

Is This the Right Supervision for You?

You may be a good fit for my supervision approach if you:
  • Are curious about your work and willing to look beyond the surface of the clinical situation.
  • Want a supervisor who will listen to your perspective rather than simply tell you what to do.
  • Value thoughtful feedback, honest conversations, and a collaborative relationship.
  • Are developing your own therapeutic identity and want room to explore what feels authentic to you.
  • Are willing to reflect on your clinical work, including the places where you feel uncertain or stuck.
  • Want to grow not only as a clinician, but as a whole person.
You don't need to have everything figure out before you begin supervision.  That's part of what supervision is for.

Develop Your Own Therapeutic Voice

My goal is to support you in becoming a thoughtful, ethical, confident counselor while developing a way of practicing that feels authentic to you.  Supervision is an opportunity to explore your strengths, values, clinical interests, and developing professional identity as you grow into the counselor you want to be.
